Molly and Kevin sleep together

As Sally waits for an explanation about the hotel booking, Molly gives Kevin a lifeline by telling Sally that Kevin booked The Lowry hotel as a surprise for her birthday. Sally's thrilled to bits, while Molly's gutted that her romantic night away with Kevin has been ruined.

Feigning a headache, Molly leaves the party and heads home where she immediately phones Kevin and tells him to pop over the road. Kevin lies to Sally that he needs to check on the garage and heads straight for number nine.

Kevin and Molly fall into each other's arms and have sex on the sofa, but they realise that they've crossed the line. A guilt-ridden Kevin returns home to Sally who thanks him for the surprise hotel present and tells him he's the best husband in the world.

Meanwhile, Fiz tells John that she wants to marry him in prison as soon as possible. She's secretly worried, though, about everyone's reaction - particularly Chesney's. But with John oblivious to the problems Fiz is having back on the Street, he agrees to booking the wedding as soon as possible.

At Sally's party, Rosie continues to wind up Sophie by flirting with Ben. Sophie finally flips, though, and throws a drink over Rosie. But her actions cause Sophie more problems when Ben tells her that he doesn't date drunken girls who get into fights. Sophie's upset when Ben walks out, while Rosie's quietly pleased.

Barry and Helen fuss over Maria and their grandson Liam. Helen thinks that Tony must fancy Maria to be living at the house and doing so much for her. Maria, however, assures her that they're just friends but Helen remains suspicious.
