S05E41: 'Musical Beds'

Ben is recovering from his stab wounds and, after some string-pulling by Paula, is brought up to Ward 17, so that she can nurse him personally, as the Australian medical drama continues.

Luke, meanwhile, is disgusted when Dr Craybrook reappears at All Saints as a teaching consultant, after his attempted insurance fraud. However, Luke is forced to work with him to try to save Ben, who has taken a turn for the worse and has a saddle embolism.

When Nelson becomes concerned over the ward's patient load, he sets up a bed allocations scam with Rebecca in the hope they will avoid chronic-care patients.

Later, Jared and Kylie work together on her last day to solve patient Wally Beecroft's kidney problems. Kylie helps Jared solve a problem of his own before she flies off to Paris.

Mitch is distressed that Rose is refusing to give back a rocking chair – a family heirloom – until he takes matters into his own hands.

Paula, meanwhile, has insisted on staying by Ben's bed overnight but, as she sits there, she hears him muttering Bron's name and finally has to admit that she is not the one for him. She tells Bron, who goes to Ben's side...
