S05E42: 'Twice The Fun'

When Nelson is put in temporary charge of Emergency he is unprepared for the full-on day he's going to have, as the Australian medical drama continues. He has to organise a response to a multi-vehicle accident and, when it turns out that a dying truckie involved in the accident has two wives and two families, Nelson is confronted with a moral dilemma.

Miss Coleman is back on the ward as a patient and seems feistier than ever. Meanwhile, Mitch is baffled when two teenagers are brought into the ward suffering strange symptoms. Both were found unconscious in a sauna and have brown blood and rapidly failing systems.

The reappearance of Rose complicates matters and upsets Mitch further, and no one is sure whether Charlotte's suggestion for treating the teenagers is actually serious. Von realises that the pair, stepbrother and sister, are actually lovers, which explains the behaviour of their mother/stepmother, Brenda. Von seeks to calm the waters.

Elsewhere, Bron is made Terri's second-in-command and feels guilty as she wonders whether she should really tell her that she's planning on leaving soon. But with Terri preoccupied and worried about Mitch, should she burden her further with this news?
