S01E10: The team have an 'away day' in Cornwall

During a meeting with Sam and Jonathan, Nancy becomes annoyed at their jokey attitude towards the show. She forces the team to go on a morale boosting trip to Cornwall as a last push to make Echo Beach a huge success.

Everyone has plans they don’t want to change but they have no choice but to go. Jonathan takes his sexy date for the weekend, actress Sarah Manners, leaving Sam secretly jealous as Jonathan and her have started to become close.

Carl gets a call from his agent and thinks that one of his scripts has been picked up in Hollywood. He nearly gets himself fired by bad-mouthing Jonathan to his face before realising that Tom has been playing a trick on him. Carl manages to save his job by masterminding a plan of action for Jonathan when, despite warnings from Nancy, Sarah Manners pushes for a part in the show.

Gillian and Carl lie in the sand and talk about life, imagining an emotional and powerful scene, which then appears in the next episode of Echo Beach.
