S01E11: Nancy's furious about a press leak

Jonathan and Sam are getting closer over a couple of glasses of wine, but Jonathan is embarrassed when they kiss and he ruins the intimate moment between them.

Nancy arrives and is furious that a big story has been leaked to the press. The team must re-write the story and Nancy decides to stick around to keep an eye on proceedings. A constantly drunk cast member does little to allay Nancy’s fears about where the leak is coming from.

Jonathan thinks everyone is talking about him and his embarrassing moment with Sam. His paranoia gets the better of him and he announces in front of the team, including Nancy, that Sam was drunk and tried it on with him. He reveals the extent to which he messed up – quite literally. He gets mad with Sam and blows any chances he may have had with her, refusing to apologise despite clearly having feelings for her.

Everybody in the team wants to be the one to write the last episode so Jonathan makes a stand and tells the writers they must work together.
