Esther suffers a panic attack

Charlie and Christy chat and Charlie reminds him that he will be sorely missed if he leaves Carrigstown. He tells him that he is part of the community. Sash gives her CV to Louie and asks him if he has any work in McCoys. Dermot tells Jo how guilty he feels rushing around and not having enough time with everyone, but she reassures him that he should keep the Belfast job. Later she arranges another tryst with Tommy. Jo then meets with Orla and boasts that she and her lover are meeting for lunch but 'not much will get eaten'!

Carol is delighted to receive Sash's CV and she entices her to come and work by offering her more responsibilities and giving her the title of assistant manager. Esther confides to Charlie that she knows David will go looking for his father - William Keane. Tommy meets Judith and tries to explain why he is not working and is all spruced up wearing aftershave. Carol lets slip that Tommy was in Jo's house looking after the 'mice'. A suspicious Judith forces Tommy to do a DIY job he's been putting off for a while.

Suzanne and David chat about him leaving Carrigstown tomorrow and they decide to spend some quality time together before his departure. She asks Bela to cover her shift. But Yvonne is unimpressed, saying that she is using Bela and she has no right to go swanning off with her lover boy. Tommy finally manages to sneak away and Jo leaps on him when he arrives at her house.

Dermot decides to collect Ben early from summer camp and go home to Jo. Tommy and Jo are horrified when they hear the door open and Tommy hides in the kitchen. Jo brings Dermot into the sitting room and while she tries to explain why she has such lovely food prepared, Tommy takes his chance and sneaks out the front door. A relieved Jo then tells Dermot she was preparing for a picnic, but is tense when she sees Ben playing with Tommy's keyring. She manages to retrieve it from Ben but not before Dermot notices them.

Carol is outraged when she learns that Louie has made a bid for Phelans. Louie wavers when she insists she wants nothing to do with it. Esther reveals to Charlie what really happened with David's father and she becomes stressed and has a panic attack. Dr Judith calls an ambulance. When David hears what has happened, he abandons Suzanne and rushes to see her.

Christy meets Louie and Bob, who both try to persuade him to let them lease Phelans, but during the discussion he gets a brain wave. He encourages Bob to bid for Phelans against Louie and sits back to enjoy watching their feud being reignited.
