Esther and Charlie are disconcerted when Cass reminds them that TJ, who is returning for their wedding, is a teenager now as opposed to the little boy who left Carrigstown. Cass is proved right when TJ arrives and announces his taste for online poker and his atheism. Cass plays mediator and finds favour with TJ before Charlie does, leaving Charlie and Esther a little hurt. Cass cautions TJ to allow Esther and Charlie their late-in-life happiness and not begrudge them. Cass then proposes a game of poker between himself, TJ and Charlie.

Later, TJ wins the poker game and Charlie apprehends him as he heads for a night out to spend his winnings. TJ then blurts out that he never wanted to come to stay with Charlie, but his mother forced him so she could go on holidays elsewhere. Charlie is gutted.

Meanwhile, Rachel continues to be threatened and pressured by Charlotte. Rachel almost breaks down and confesses all to Niamh about what really happened, until Paul walks in and Rachel clams up. Niamh intuits that Rachel's near confession was about the babysitting incident, but Paul doesn't believe her. Later, Vivienne tells Paul that Charlotte had another interview with the social worker and that she is innocent. Paul admits he never doubted that.

Elsewhere, Luke and Tommy spark off an old family feud, and when Tommy vents his anger at Dearbhla, she finds support from Luke. Get the Inside Soap magazine on your iPhone or iPad
