Pete is frustrated when he fails to resolve things with Dolores and rejects Lucy's cheeky input in defence of Dolores. Bob asks Pete if he has done something to annoy him when Pete is off-hand. Bob tells Lucy he's anxious to clear the air with Pete as he considers him a good friend. Lucy tries to deter Bob and is delighted when he gets waylaid by Decco. But Bob prevails and levels with Pete, offering him a paint and repair job into the bargain. Pete and Bob realise that Lucy's been manipulating all concerned. Pete confronts Lucy, in front of Dolores but has to bite his tongue when Dolores accuses him of being down on everyone at the moment.
Decco looks to Wayne to buy a van for the courier business. Val tries to get Eddie and Decco to work out of their office instead of her house. Luke and Eddie come to an arrangement whereby Luke gets a commission for every new client he sends to Eddie for financial advice. Val reminds Eddie not to leave all of the courier business to Decco. Dermot makes peace with Decco for his past sins.
Neil is still in pain from his hand injury but determined not to let it stop him living life to the full and indeed working. Neil is, for once, appreciative of Pete when offered painkillers. Neil gets Sash to agree to a date. Neil is ecstatic when the food critic heaps praise on his cuisine and he promptly asks Yvonne for a raise. Orla tries to get Yvonne to also give her a raise in exchange for further PR but Yvonne turns her down. Neil brings Sash to Vino's on his date and enjoys having Orla and Yvonne wait on them hand and foot.
Cass teases Charlie about his languishing for Esther. When Esther invites Bela around for a movie, Bela worries Charlie will think he's moving in but Esther says she just wants Charlie to know his whole life hasn't changed by marrying. Cass informs Esther of Charlie's concerns. Esther and Charlie have a heart-to-heart.
Pete tries to warn Wayne about Lucy but only offends Wayne. Pete confides in Neil who advises his dad to back off Lucy because he can't win. Bob subtly lets Lucy know he's boss and she may not blur boundaries for her own purposes. Meanwhile, Pete apologises to Lucy in front of Dolores. Later, when Pete gets Lucy alone, he lets her know he is onto her.
Luke asks Eddie if he was behind bars with Decco and Eddie denies it.
