Carla digs her claws in, Ian slips up
Published Sunday, Aug 31 2008, 09:00 BST | By Kris Green | 3 comments
Corrie's Liam Connor (Rob James-Collier) once again finds himself at the mercy of his sister-in-law and one-night stand Carla Connor (Alison King) in a fortnight's time.
Liam's cousin Tom (Philip McGinley) is struggling to find the £50,000 that he and Liam need for their new business 'Lads Rags'. When the bank turns him down for a loan, Tom remembers Carla's offer of financial support. So, behind Liam's back, Tom makes a deal with her. When Liam finds out, he's not impressed in the slightest, though that doesn't stop him from going along with it all...
Is this another ploy for Liam to get closer to Carla again? Or part of Carla's plot to wreck Liam's marriage? Or both?

These scenes air on Monday, September 8 on ITV1 at 7.30pm and 8.30pm.
Meanwhile, over in Walford, Bianca's (Patsy Palmer) ploy to sue Ian (Adam Woodyatt) for slipping on the floor at work in the café backfires. Having smeared margarine across the floor, Tony rings and distracts Bianca, who doesn't notice Ian's walked in the door. When Ian takes a tumble, Bianca is forced to call an ambulance...

These scenes air on Tuesday, September 9 on BBC One at 7.30pm.

EastEnders is kinda getting stupid now! They need serious good storylines, not these "funny" storylines which are pointless.

no they don't. Corrie do. EastEnders when it 1st started was about the east end, working class families. Now it's full of writers who are all middle class. It just doesn't work at all.
