Corrie's dirty Harry, Bradley's nut allergy

Published Sunday, Sep 14 2008, 16:36 BST | By Kris Green | 2 comments
Coronation Street bookie Harry Mason (Jack Ellis) has been experiencing the best of both worlds over the past few weeks, sneaking off to The Rovers to steal a quick fumble with landlady Liz McDonald (Bev Callard), before returning to his wife Clarissa (Alexandra Boyd).

In a fortnight, Harry promises to take Liz to the charity ball with him but when he turns up at the pub with Clarissa instead, she's left highly embarrassed and her upset results in her failing to say goodbye to Vernon (Ian Reddington) as he drives away for a new life in London.

Fuming at Harry's actions, Liz arranges to speak with Clarissa in a bid to persuade her of his true nature. The pair hatch a plan which sees Harry caught with his trousers down in the back room of The Rovers and he's ultimately forced to leave the pub through the front door, much to the hilarity of the regulars.

These scenes lead to Harry and Clarissa's exit from the soap, while Harry's son Dan (Matthew Crompton) will be around for a little while longer before he, too, disappears from Weatherfield.

These scenes air on Wednesday, September 24 on ITV1 at 7.30pm.

Over in Walford, meanwhile, Stacey (Lacey Turner) makes a decision about her future with Bradley (Charlie Clements). As she broaches the subject, Bradley has an allergic reaction to a walnut cake and Stacey's forced to call for an ambulance.

These scenes air on Friday, September 26 on BBC One at 8pm.

So we have to put up with with Bradley's allergic reaction as well as all this tomfoolery over whether or not he and Stacey will get back together. And when will Liz learn to stop behaving like a silly schoolgirl?

Oh for godness sake not Bradley and his allergic reaction again! And can Liz stop raising her eyebrows?!
