'Oaks affair exposed, Peggy's collapse

By
Hollyoaks' Nancy's (Jessica Fox) world is about to come crumbling down around her when, in a fortnight's time, she walks in on her boyfriend Ravi (Stephen Uppal) in an embrace with her lover, Kris (Gerard McCarthy).

After having heard from Russ (Stuart Manning) that Ravi made a pass at him a few months ago, Nancy's distraught by the news. Russ, however, tries to reason with her - she's the one that's been having an affair! Trying to take control of the situation, Nancy tracks Ravi down to talk things through with him. She's left reeling, though, by his admission that he's bisexual.

Nancy then heads over to see Kris, who confesses that he loves her. Despite his shock revelation, Nancy's already made up her mind - she wants to make a go of things with Ravi. Kris is left heartbroken when Nancy walks out of his life.

Kris seeks solace in Ravi at The Loft and before they know it, their talk turns to a frenzied passion which is suddenly interrupted by Nancy walking in on them...

It could only happen in soapland. Couldn't it? Check back in a couple of weeks for my interview with the lovely Jessica Fox.

With the doctors looking for signs of a minor stroke, Archie attempts to reassure her that it's more than likely stress-induced. Concerned for Peggy's health, Archie issues her with an ultimatum - drop the campaign or the wedding's off. Which will Peggy choose?

Jimmy's (Nick Miles) jealous when Nicola (Nicola Wheeler) agrees to go to a business event with Katie (Sammy Winward). Both girls meet in the Woolpack dressed up to the nines and as they head off to the function, Sandy (Freddie Jones) and Doug (Duncan Preston) remind Jimmy that he could lose Nicola for good if he's not careful. Deciding to do something about it, he storms out of the pub in the hope of tracking her down.

He arrives at the networking event just in time to to save Nicola from a sleazy businessman who's leching over her. In a truly romantic manner, he carries her out in the style of An Officer And A Gentleman.

As an aside, does anybody else find it remarkable that seemingly all the teens in Weatherfield have suddenly turned to God and are attending a religious youth centre? Apart from Rosie Webster (Helen Flanagan), that is...
