Max and Tanya kiss, Dev's affair and E'dale wedding

By
Quite surprisingly, I don't have any EastEnders wedding pics for you this weekend. Instead, these pics of Max (Jake Wood) and Tanya (Jo Joyner) were sent to me for your viewing pleasure.

Worried that they could miss a call from Lauren (Madeline Duggan), Max and Tanya decide not to go to Peggy (Barbara Windsor) and Archie's (Larry Lamb) ceremony. So, it comes as no surprise that there's another moment of connection between the pair - the last being the night Max was run over in October - leading to them sharing a kiss.

Tanya, however, freaks out and asks Max to leave. Has Max blown his chances again?

I don't know about you, but I think Max and Tanya are meant to be together. However, some may be pleased to hear that there's a potential new love interest for Tanya on the way to Walford in the form of a new doctor...

Dr. Al Jenkins - played by Adam Croasdell - is a new 'distraction' for the salon owner, but his fleeting initial appearance means that there's insufficient time for romance to truly blossom. But from what I hear, he'll more than likely be making a comeback a little later down the line. Al Jenkins will make his screen debut in the next couple of months.

These scenes air on Thursday, April 2 at 7.30pm on BBC One.

Over to Emmerdale now, where it's the week of Carl (Tom Lister) and Lexi's (Sally Oliver) wedding. On the morning of his nuptials, Carl works himself up into such a frenzy that he calls Chas (Lucy Pargeter) and asks her to meet with him at the cricket pavilion.

When they eventually come face to face, Carl tells Chas exactly how it is - if she says that she still loves him he'll call off the wedding. Chas is dumbfounded by what she's hearing and despite Paddy (Dominic Brunt) and Aaron (Danny Miller) weighing heavily on her mind, she's forced to make a difficult decision.

While Carl and Chas have a heart-to-heart, Lexi arrives at the church where Jimmy's (Nick Miles) forced to lie as to Carl's whereabouts. Lexi clearly doesn't buy the yarn she's been spun and immediately begins to worry that she's been jilted.

Will Chas come clean with Carl and reveal her true feelings? Or will she keep her true love for Carl stowed away for a rainy day?

Check back on Tuesday for my exclusive interview with Lucy Pargeter! Also, there's an extremely interesting new signing on the horizon, too. More on that one as and when I can.

These scenes air on Tuesday, March 31 at 7pm on ITV1.

Meanwhile Dev's (Jimmy Harkishin) at it again in Coronation Street. Just when you thought that he might just settle down with Tara (Ayesha Dharker), he has another fling. Sort of.

With her art gallery business a little slow (to say the least), Tara's excited when she finally sells three paintings to a London-based art dealer. What she doesn't know, however, is that Dev enlisted kebab shop worker Minnie (Poppy Jhakra) to fake the purchase over the phone.

Tara hits the roof when she eventually learns of her boyfriend's betrayal, and even packs her bags to move out of the flat. It's not long before Dev's seeking solace in the arms of another woman, though, when he bumps into Tara's father Prem's (Madhav Sharma) accountant, Lisa Dalton (Ruth Alexander-Rubin).

If you cast your mind back, we first met Lisa back in August when Dev was frequenting Prem's house, before his affair with Tara's mum Nina (Harvey Virdi) was exposed! Boy, Dev gets himself into some situations, doesn't he?!

I digress... So after having retired to the bedroom with Lisa, Dev finds himself in a tricky post-coital situation when Tara turns up at the flat to apologise. Little does Tara know that a half-dressed Lisa is a matter of feet away, hiding in the bedroom...

> Poll: Is Luke the secret brother of Carla?

These scenes air on Friday, April 3 at 7.30pm and 8.30pm on ITV1.

And over to Hollyoaks, where Sarah Barnes (Loui Batley) locks lips with Lydia (Lydia Kelly) on April Fool's Day. And before anyone asks: no, I'm not joking and yes, I know - bizarre storyline.

Once Archie (Stephen Beard) has finally landed Sarah, she soon begins to feel pushed aside by him. When he later turns up at the dance class and flirts with everything that moves, he's soon distracted when Sarah dances erotically with Lydia. Proving a point, Sarah tells Archie and his wandering eyes exactly where to go.

Following their steamy dance routine, Sarah takes Lydia for a drink and seizing the opportunity, Lydia pulls Sarah aside and kisses her. Surprisingly, Sarah doesn't pull away. Is this the start of something special for Sarah? Or are there bad times ahead for the sexually confused student?

These scenes air on Wednesday, April 1 at 6.30pm on Channel 4.
