Syd returns, Ramsay arrives and more
Published Sunday, May 3 2009, 00:02 BST | By Kris Green | 2 comments
We'll start with a bit of smoochy-smoochy this week as EastEnders relative Walford newbie Sydney (Nina Toussaint-White) finally pays Bradley (Charlie Clements) a visit after having slipped off the radar for the last few weeks.
While Bradley's trying to tell his grandma Dot (June Brown) to start taking things easy, Syd turns up out of the blue. He takes her to the kitchen where he questions why she's been 'avoiding' him and not responding to any form of communication. Syd, however, reassures him that it's her job as a nurse which is causing the problem. Bradley, though, seems unconvinced.
When Syd goes on to promise Dot that she'll help her develop techniques to battle insomnia, Bradley takes Syd to task and suggests that she'll only disappear like she did before. As Dot leaves the house, Syd tries to reassures Bradley by kissing him, before leading the way to the bedroom.
Indeed, something's not quite right. She's later seen returning to her flat where another guy lets her in. What's she hiding?

These scenes air on Tuesday, May 12 at 7.30pm on BBC One.
Hopping up north to Coronation Street now, where Norris (Malcolm Hebden) gets the shock of his life when his estranged half-brother Ramsay Clegg (Andrew Sachs) arrives in Weatherfield.
Ramsay wanders into The Rovers and as Norris stares in disbelief, Rita (Barbara Knox) and Emily (Eileen Derbyshire) begin to wonder why Norris never mentioned him.
Norris quickly makes it abundantly clear that Ramsay's not welcome and when Emily later lets him into No.3, Norris holds firm and forces him to leave.
Will Norris be able to put their differences aside?

These scenes air on Friday, May 15 at 7.30pm and 8.30pm on ITV1.
Over in Emmerdale, David (Matthew Wolfenden) confronts Nathan (Lyndon Ogbourne) over his money dealings with Leyla (Rokhsaneh Ghawam-Shahidi) as he's made a large donation to her mum's nursing home on her behalf. Leyla finds herself torn. After a tussle between David and Nathan, the former vows to fight a clean campaign.
However, when Nathan later makes a derogatory remark about Leyla, she pours a vase of water over him.

These scenes air on Tuesday, May 12 at 7pm on ITV1.
And finally to Hollyoaks, where Suzanne's (Suzanne Hall) concerned to have found a stash of food hidden in Hannah's (Emma Rigby) room. Concerned that she's having an eating disorder-related relapse, she confronts her daughter about the stockpile, but Hannah maintains that it isn't hers and someone planted it there...

These scenes air on Tuesday, May 12 at 6.30pm on Channel 4.

I reckon Norris and his brother had fallen out at some point.
