E'dale crash, Corrie roof threat and Stacey's fall
Published Sunday, Jul 12 2009, 00:02 BST | By Kris Green | 4 comments
There's quite a few pictures to get through, so without further ado, I'll begin. One thing to note, though, is ITV's new Thursday evening schedule from July 23.
It's stunt week in Emmerdale village towards the end of the month when Rodney's (Patrick Mower) new van crashes into Mark (Maxwell Caulfield) and Natasha's (Amanda Donohoe) new farm shop.
Rodney forgets to put the handbrake on, Aaron (Danny Miller) spots the car rolling and despite John's (James Thornton) help, there's nothing they can do. Nicola's (Nicola Wheeler) forced to jump out of the way as the car careers into Home Farm Fayre.
Leyla (Rokhsaneh Ghawam-Shahidi), Ryan (James Sutton) and Doug (Duncan Preston), however, are stuck inside. Will they emerge alive?

These scenes air on Thursday, July 23 at 7pm and 8pm on ITV1.
Meanwhile, over in Weatherfield, Coronation Street's Claire Peacock (Julia Haworth) is still on the road to recovery in hospital following her pulmonary embolism and miscarriage. When her Ashley (Steven Arnold) pays her a visit, he wonders whether his wife was serious when she mentioned him having a vasectomy the previous day.
Claire insists that she was deadly serious, but Ashley doesn't help the situation when he starts discussing alternative remedies to their problem. Becoming upset, Claire tells Ashley to leave and not to return until he agrees to go through with the operation.
Later, Ashley's shocked to receive a call from medical staff with the news that a troubled Claire has vanished from her bed. He races to the hospital and spies Claire on the roof. Panicking that she's about to jump, he runs to the top of the building. Will he manage to coax her down before she takes her own life? Or is all not what it seems?

These scenes air on Thursday, July 23 at 8.30pm on ITV1.
Elsewhere, Stacey Slater's (Lacey Turner) quest to discover the identity of Max's (Jake Wood) new girlfriend intensifies in a fortnight's time when she storms over to the Brannings' to find out what she wants to know firsthand.
Wandering over to Number 5, an unbalanced Stacey turns up on Tanya's (Jo Joyner) doorstep and barges her way into the house. Walking into the living room, Stacey's furious to find Max there and starts shouting at him. As she continues to vent, Tanya hears Lauren (Madeline Duggan) and Abi (Lorna Fitzgerald) return home.
Not wanting the kids to hear the commotion, Tanya tries to drag Stacey out of the house but as Stacey pulls away from her, Tanya loses her grip. With that, Stacey falls to the ground, her head hitting the floor...

These scenes air on Tuesday, July 14 at 7.30pm on BBC One.
Cash fever hits the Hollyoaks boys towards the end of the month as the distrust between Zak (Kent Riley), Archie (Stephen Beard), Elliot (Garnon Davies) and Kris (Gerard McCarthy) reaches boiling point.
When Archie ends up wasting his £250, tempers begin to flare and a fight soon breaks out between him and Zak. Will they reach a decision about what to do with the stash of cash?

These scenes air on Tuesday, July 21 at 6.30pm on Channel 4.
And finally, a girls' night out doesn't go quite to plan when there's an accident in the SU Bar.
As Zoe (Zoë Lister), Hannah (Emma Rigby), Nancy (Jessica Fox) and Loretta (Melissa Walton) dance on the bar, it's not long before one of them takes a tumble backwards and cuts themselves on a crate of bottles...

These scenes air on Friday, July 24 at 6.30pm on Channel 4.

Sounds good for EastEnders and Emmerdale but Corrie, seriously we have to watch Claire going mad again??? Come on writers, new stories please, or at least use better characters!!!

I wish it was the Wylde family stuck inside that van. And I shouldn't be surprised if Claire is sectioned again.

I wonder if Loretta will be left badly scarred? I think that'd be a good route to take her down. As a sufferer of keloiding scarring myself, it'd be interesting to see the upset and frustration they can cause long term. EastEnders looks good too. Cant wait to see more of Stacey!
