'Enders scrap, 'Oaks baby plot and Corrie questions

Published Sunday, Aug 9 2009, 00:02 BST | By Kris Green | 1 comment
I've a superb set of pictures from EastEnders this week from an episode that focuses on three characters - Ronnie (Samantha Womack), Bianca (Patsy Palmer) and Dot (June Brown).

A frustrated Ronnie ends up throwing everyone out of The Vic and closing early but when Bianca and Dot turn up, she reluctantly lets them in for a drink.

Ronnie and Bianca's conversation soon turns to bitchery - Bianca slates the eldest Mitchell sister for her situation with Jack (Scott Maslen), before Ronnie reminds her that she let Tony (Chris Coghill) into her home. With that, Bianca fires back the line: "You've done a really good job with your daughter - that's probably why she's dead."

With that, Ronnie slaps Bianca and a traditional Walford catfight ensues...

These scenes air on Tuesday, August 18 at 7.30pm on BBC One.

Over in Hollyoaks, Ste (Kieron Richardson) goes missing as he's concerned that Abi (Elaine Glover) may have told Daniel (Chris Hargreaves) about their kiss the previous week. It soon becomes clear to a relieved Ste, though, that Daniel doesn't know.

Later, Abi's left alone with Ste when Daniel goes to see the family he's hoping will adopt Lucas. She accidentally cuts her finger while preparing some food and Ste rushes to her aid. Their conversation quickly turns to their kiss the previous week and they find themselves in another passionate embrace on the sofa...

Later in the week, Daniel discovers that Abi's slept with Ste and he threatens that she'll lose Lucas for good. Daniel ups his hold of Ste, while the young father spirals out of control. Ste struggles to cope with looking after his son and when he won't stop crying, he's about to shake him - until Daniel stops him and takes Lucas off him. Daniel seizes the opportunity to tell Ste what a bad father he is and he should therefore give Lucas up. However, a vicious fight breaks out between the pair, before a heartbroken Ste concedes that he's not fit to be a father and hands Lucas over to Daniel.

And finally on the Friday, Ste's puzzled to find Abi and Daniel packing their belongings as they prepare to go away for a while - but what he doesn't know is that Daniel intends to hand Lucas over to his 'new parents' before he leaves. On Ste's return to the house, he's shocked to find that Abi and Daniel have already gone but he manages to catch them as they're about to leave.

Abi's forced to choose whether to hand Lucas to either Ste or Daniel. She chooses Ste and flees the scene, as the police arrive and arrest Daniel for child abduction...

These scenes air during the week commencing, August 17, Monday to Friday at 6.30pm on Channel 4.

Meanwhile, on Coronation Street, Lloyd's (Craig Charles) happy that Liz (Beverley Callard) has returned from Spain but questions why she didn't contact him or make an earlier comeback.

He's disappointed to hear that she feels that she's had a mid-life crisis and that they should end their relationship...

These scenes air on Monday, August 17 at 7.30pm on ITV1.

And finally to Emmerdale, where Moira (Natalie J Robb) and Holly (Sophie Powles) are concerned about Hannah's (Grace Cassidy) crush on Andy (Kelvin Fletcher). While Moira hears all about Andy's troubles past from the local gossips, Hannah invites him to her birthday party.

However, she's devastated when he says that he's far too old to be going to a children's party. With that, Hannah bolts from the caravan just as Moira returns to Butler's. Jumping to conclusions, Moira fears that the worst and Andy's hurt by the presumptions. Despite Andy protesting his innocence, Moira refuses to listen and orders him off the land.

Will Hannah tell the truth?

These scenes air on Monday, August 17 at 7pm on ITV1.
