Garry punches Phil, Jason's arrest, Will's horse horror
Published Sunday, Aug 16 2009, 00:02 BST | By Kris Green | 4 comments
It's Garry (Ricky Groves) and Dawn's (Kara Tointon) Swann-song (see what I did there? *groan*) in EastEnders at the end of the month but as expected, the day doesn't quite go to plan.
With the knowledge that Dawn chose Phil (Steve McFadden) over Garry, Minty (Cliff Parisi) takes it upon himself to tell Garry the truth on the eve of his wedding. Despite being armed with the awful truth, Garry's determined to go through with the day.
However, as Phil drives the boys out of the Square to the ceremony, Garry yells at him to stop. Rushing out the car, Garry runs over to Dawn who's not impressed that he's seen her before the wedding. However, she's stumped when Garry demands to know if she loved him.
Her silence and glance over at Phil tells Garry exactly what he needed to know and with that, he turns and punches Phil for his betrayal.
Will Garry and Dawn have a happy-ever-after ending? These pictures would suggest so...

These scenes air on Tuesday, August 25 at 7.30pm on BBC One.
Over on Coronation Street, Jason Grimshaw's (Ryan Thomas) caught in the fallout of David's (Jack P Shepherd) attack.
If you didn't see the picture earlier in the week, David's attacked next Friday by a mystery assailant. However, after a run-in with Jason earlier in the day, David jumps to conclusions, while the builder's girlfriend Tina (Michelle Keegan) also questions his whereabouts.
It's not long before the police are knocking at Number 11 to arrest Jason on suspicion of assault. A classic Eileen (Sue Cleaver) and Gail (Helen Worth) row then ensues. Dressing gowns at the ready...

Meanwhile, in a fortnight's time Emmerdale's youngest Wylde family member Will (Oscar Lloyd) finds himself in trouble with a horse. Yes, you've read that right. Will's keen to learn to ride but his mother Natasha (Amanda Donohoe) warns him not to pester Katie (Sammy Winward).
Ryan (James Sutton), however, has booked his first riding lesson with Katie and Will watches on with his sister Maisie (Alice Coulthard). Afterwards, Katie, Ryan and Maisie tuck into a picnic and some alcohol, while Will sneaks off into the stables. Inside, the horse is spooked by Will's presence and starts rearing up.
Will screams for help and when the trio rush to see what's happened, they find Will unconscious after being kicked in the head. Ryan rushes in and carries Will to safety as Maisie's beside herself with guilt having left her brother unsupervised.

These scenes air on Thursday, August 27 at 7pm and 8pm on ITV1.
And finally in Hollyoaks, Theresa (Jorgie Porter) decides that she's not going back to school as she wants to launch a career as a model. The youth's delighted when she hears that Zoe's (Zoë Lister) looking for models for her Buff TV project but she's devastated when Zoe says that she's too young.
Spurred on by Loretta's (Melissa Walton) tips on raunchy dancing and modelling, Theresa decides to take some sample photos and eventually persuades Zoe to give her a chance in front of the camera. Zoe, however, begins to think that she may have gone a step too far.

I don't know who ends up punching David but I don't see why he/she should face arrest for only doing to him what most Corrie fans are itching to do. It's going to be a treat for all of us.

I dislike it when soaps get young girls to prance about like that in Hollyoaks. It is uncomfortable to see someone as young as that modelling a bikini
