Naked Janine (sort of), non-linear 'Oaks and Corrie kiss
Published Sunday, Sep 6 2009, 00:02 BST | By Kris Green | 6 comments
Have you ever wondered what a naked Janine Butcher (Charlie Brooks) would look like covered in £2,000 worth of £10 and £20 notes?
Well wonder no more...
Next week, Chelsea (Tiana Benjamin) strikes it lucky when she wins £2,000 on a scratchcard using a spare tenner her dad Lucas (Don Gilet) lends her. Ryan (Neil McDermott) and Janine immediately spot an opportunity, so Janine sets to work trying to sell the young Fox a knock-off designer handbag. Ryan thwarts Janine's attempts and instead orchestrates a mugging.
Janine returns home and finds Chelsea's stash of cash on her bed and when Ryan walks in, Janine's laid out in bed covered in notes.
Ryan calmly tells her, "That's my money," prompting her to retort, "Well you'd better take it back then". With that, Ryan walks towards her with a grin on his face...

These scenes air on Friday, September 11 at 8pm on BBC One.
Meanwhile, it's Hollyoaks' first even non-linear week and the teens head off camping.
If you're wondering what on earth a 'non-linear' week is, panic not. I have an exclusive interview with Hollyoaks' leading producer Lucy Allan who explains everything about the special week which will be going live on Tuesday. Until then, a non-linear week is essentially a week of episodes that don't play out in order.
For example, Monday's events may play out on the Thursday, or Wednesday events may be seen on the Tuesday. It's nothing more than that. So at the end of the week, everything pieces together nicely and it's as if you've watched a normal week.
Here are some pictures from the first two episodes, showing the teens - Newt (Nico Mirallegro), Lauren (Dominique Jackson), Anita (Saira Choudry) and Ricky (Ashley Margolis) - on a walk in the woods. Unbeknown to them, however, they're being watched by Gaz (Joel Goonan) who's hiding in the trees.
Events, however, take a turn for the worse as Gaz attacks Anita and accuses her and her family of ruining his life. Threatening to expose Anita's kiss with Newt, Gaz tries to bargain with her - sleep with him and he'll keep quiet. When the others realise what's going on, Gaz protests that Lauren invited him along to the cottage, before attacking Ricky.
A game of truth or dare ensues, but it soon escalates and the next thing we see is Newt waking to find blood on his hands and Gaz in a bloodied state next to him.
As you can see from my final picture, Newt's hauled in for questioning the following day. Did Newt really attack Gaz? Or is there something more sinister afoot?

These scenes air on Monday, September 14 and Tuesday, September 15 at 6.30pm on Channel 4.
Jane Danson returns to our screens next week as Coronation Street's Leanne Battersby after taking time off for maternity leave.
Peter's (Chris Gascoyne) delighted by her comeback but knows that he has his work cut out to convince her that she's the one for him. Having lied that he's been living like a monk while she's been away, Leanne can't bring herself to trust him, but he manages to convince her to stay for dinner.
On the promise of honesty, Leanne agrees to stay and she's delighted by his apparent improvement as a father. Peter goes on to admit that he slept with two people when she was in Leeds but purposely avoids revealing Michelle's name. When Peter professes his love for her, Leanne reciprocates with a kiss.

These scenes air on Friday, September 14 at 8.30pm on ITV1.
And finally to Emmerdale where Gennie (Sian Reese-Williams) and Bob's (Tony Audenshaw) secret is finally exposed.
Bob tries to persuade his son Jamie (Alex Carter) to cancel his date with Gennie so he can babysit. Jamie, however, is having none of it. Concerned that Gennie might reveal their one-night stand to Jamie, Bob heads over to Victoria Cottage in the hope of convincing Gennie to call off her date with his son.
Jamie, however, rocks up and is perplexed to find that his father's already there and immediately questions them. With that, Gennie reveals to a devastated Jamie that she slept with Bob a few months ago. Disgusted by her revelation, Jamie insists that he wants nothing more to do with her and proclaims that they deserve each other...

What does Janine think she looks like? And there's sure to be hell to pay when Jamie finds out that Bob and Gennie had a fling.
