Soaps Soap Scoop

Later skydive, E'dale and Corrie weddings, 'Oaks exit

By
Here are the first pictures of the Hollyoaks Later skydive, which I reported on last month.

As you probably already know, either Zoe (Zoë Lister) or Sarah (Loui Batley) will plunge to their death after Lydia (Lydia Kelly) sabotages one of the parachutes.

In classic soap style, though, the parachute becomes mixed up and when the trio jump out of the plane, Lydia doesn't even know who has the defect pack.

Hollyoaks Later kicks off on Monday, September 28 at 10pm on E4.

I'll have full coverage of the episodes during the week of transmission - Monday, September 28 onwards - so check back for interviews with Emma Rigby, Steph Waring, Zoë Lister, Loui Batley, Gemma Merna and Bonnie Tyler!

In the meantime, click here to read the latest about the show.

These scenes air on Thursday, October 1 at 10pm on E4.

Emmerdale's Debbie Dingle (Charley Webb) storms to Durham at the beginning of next month in the hope of stopping her lover Michael's (Jamie Belman) wedding to his mystery bride.

Adamant that Michael loves her, Debbie tells her father Cain (Jeff Hordley) that she try one final time to convince Michael that he should choose her over his prospective wife. Seeing how much Michael means to her, Cain reluctantly agrees and the pair race to Durham.

They arrive at the same time as the veiled bride and when Debbie hears the wedding march blaring from the church organ, she bites the bullet and runs towards the doors. Cain follows and they barge in at the back of the congregation.

Inside, Debbie sees Michael staring lovingly at his wife-to-be. Michael spots Debbie and as his heart sinks, the bride turns around...

Just who is Michael's mystery bride?

It's probably the worst kept soap secret of recent months.

These scenes air on Tuesday, October 1 at 7pm and 8pm on ITV1.

Boris Johnson makes his cameo in EastEnders at the beginning of next month, too!

Back in July, the Mayor of London cycled to Elstree Studios to film a scene with The Vic's landlady Barbara Windsor, who plays Peggy Mitchell.

Peggy spends the morning hunting down Boris in Walford, knowing that he's visiting the fictional London borough. On her return to the pub, she starts mouthing off to the locals about how she'd give him a piece of her mind if she ever came face to face with him.

With that, Boris walks into The Vic and starts (metaphorically) charming Peggy's pants off...

These scenes air on Thursday, October 1 at 7.30pm on BBC One.

Fiz (Jennie McAlpine) and John's (Graeme) wedding day dawns in Coronation Street at the end of the month but it's far from the happy occasion Fiz had hoped for.

When she finally admits that everyone's against their union - even Chesney (Sam Aston) - Fiz begins to have second thoughts about the ceremony as she could risk losing her little brother forever. Roy soon turns up and finds her slumped outside the prison gates in tears.

Will the wedding go ahead? Or will Fiz bow to pressure?

These scenes air on Monday, September 28 at 7.30pm and 8.30pm on ITV1.

And finally, Bel (Nila Aalia) and Gov Roy (Anthony Bunsee) leave for a new life in Middlesbrough in a fortnight's time, leaving Ravi (Stephen Uppal), Leila (Lena Kaur) and Anita (Saira Choudry) to lead their lives alone in Hollyoaks.

As they share a tearful goodbye, Bel and Gov say that they hope it isn't long before their son and daughters join them in their new home.

You're probably thinking what I'm thinking. But I won't say it. I'll leave it up to your imagination...

These scenes air on Thursday, October 1 at 6.30pm on Channel 4.
