Sarah's funeral, Luke exits, EE slap and E'dale kiss

Published Sunday, Oct 11 2009, 00:02 BST | By Kris Green | 4 comments
A very quick run through of pictures this week as I'm not even in the country, but thought I should blog them anyway!

First up in Hollyoaks, we have Nancy (Jessica Fox) and Kris (Gerard McCarthy) visiting an incarcerated Zoe (Zoë Lister) who's facing a murder charge in prison for Sarah's (Loui Batley) death. On their arrival, they're shocked by her appearance and they attempt to keep her spirits up by listening to her version of events from the day of the skydive.

Mid-story, Zoe hands over a letter addressed to Sarah, and Kris and Nancy promise to take it to the funeral. As Zoe reaches the end of her account, she nervously admits that she wouldn't be surprised if Sarah took her own life.

During the final episode of the week, Sarah's friends and family gather to pay their final respects at her funeral. However, the event's disrupted by Archie's (Stephen Beard) sudden arrival...

These scenes air on Tuesday, October 20 and Friday, October 23 at 6.30pm on Channel 4.

Coronation Street's Rosie Webster (Helen Flanagan) gets a shock when she discovers that Luke's upped and left with all of her money!

Having deleted all of his computer records at Underworld, Luke hops in his car and drives out of Weatherfield for good, just as Rosie realises that he sold her shares that he didn't own. The budding entrepreneur attempts to stop the cheque, but she's devastated to discover that it's too late...

These scenes air on Monday, October 19 at 7.30pm and 8.30pm on ITV1.

Meanwhile, over in EastEnders Tamwar (Himesh Patel) bemoans his "terminally single" status to a random girl at the bar on his birthday. Spotting that Tamwar fancies Amira (Preeya Kalidas), Lucy (Melissa Suffield) spikes his drink with vodka and it's not long before the youth's a little tipsy. Lucy continues to pour vodka in his drink and during a heart-to-heart with Amira, Tamwar kisses her on the cheek.

Not impressed in the slightest, Amira slaps him...

These scenes air on Friday, October 23 at 8pm on BBC One.

And finally to Emmerdale, where Mark (Maxwell Caulfield) gives in to his feelings for his real wife Faye (Kim Thomson) in a fortnight's time and kisses her, before admitting that he wants to be with her, not Natasha (Amanda Donohoe).

Faye's puzzled when Mark orchestrates a meeting for them in a layby and when she questions him, he silences her with a kiss and admits that she's the one he wants. Faye understandably responds but quickly pulls away and insists that he either wants her or he doesn't.

Mark tries to buy himself some time, but Faye's firm - he can only have her if he ends his relationship with Natasha.

These scenes air on Monday, October 19 at 7pm on ITV1.

I think the Mark and Faye story is ridiculous after months of trying to get rid of her, all of a sudden he decides that he wants her. What about his undying love for Natasha not so long ago. Very very far-fetched and ridiculous.

I am really pleased that Mark wants to be with Faye now. Natasha drove him away and has become quite a horrid person along with that equally horrible son of hers. The quicker they both leave the programme the better.

Aww poor Zoe!

Glad to see Rosie being taught a lesson. About time she was brought down a peg or two.
