Soap stars in 'Race For Life' charity video

By
Nine female soap stars appear in the first ever Race for Life charity video 'Girls Just Want To Have Fun'.

With lead vocals from Sonique - who recently underwent treatment for breast cancer - the cover of Cyndi Lauper's 1982 hit is due to be released online from Monday (April 26). It will also be available in over 800 Tesco stores across the country.

EastEnders actress Nina Wadia (Zainab Masood) flexes her vocal cords alongside Walford returnee Lucy Benjamin, who reprises her Albert Square role as Lisa Fowler for one episode later this year.

Corrie star Kym Marsh (Michelle Connor) belts out a couple of lines, while Hollyoaks girls Nicole Barber-Lane (Myra McQueen) Dominique Jackson (Lauren Valentine), Melissa Walton (Loretta Jones), Jorgie Porter (Theresa McQueen), Alice Barlow (Rae) and former 'Oaks actress Loui Batley (Sarah Barnes) all do their bit for charity too.
