Poor ratings of Hollyoaks: Let Loose put the dampeners on any hope that another series of the same name would be commissioned but it seems like the head honchos at Channel 4 are prepared to let Mersey TV have another bite at the cherry.
Storylines are yet to be confirmed but it is certain that Gemma Atkinson and Marcus Patrick - who play Lisa and Ben - are to front the series.
I am also told that filming will commence on the latest instalment in March resulting in a July premiere on E4.

I sort of agree with Don. Producers of hollyoaks need to concentrate on the main series, as the story lines are long, drawn out and boring and many of the actors look very amateurish. It's a shame it used to be such a good programme.

The Hollyoaks makers need to improve the characters of the Hollyoaks series before making another spin off series. Since Christmas the Hollyoaks series itself has become very poor viewing. I had never ever missed a viewing up until then, now I dont bother as the main series is so poor.

What is Leigh on about? Ben didn't sleep with anyone. Also Lisa only slept with one person and as sad as it, it is reality and it happens tons more in other soaps. Plus they are allow to hit issues such as sex properly and none of that naff off when someone annoys you. People can swear after the 9pm watershed. More realistic than your corrie and eastenders pish.

I hope it isnt true! Let Loose was awful enough, with Lisa becoming a really unpleasant character! I wish they would concentrate on the main soap, it really needs it, it's been rubbish for years!
