'Bad Girls' actress staying put

Published Friday, Mar 17 2006, 19:30 GMT | By Kris Green | 3 comments
A few months back, the rumour mill suggested that Bad Girls actress Stephanie Beecham - who stars as Costa-con Phyl Oswen - would be leaving the show after its eigth season.

My Shed insiders have assured me that Stephanie is staying put, as is her character.

This news, of course, rubbishes the potential death of the Larkhall convict. If there's going to be a funeral at the end of the next series, it's not going to be hers...

Also, keep checking back over the coming weeks for an exclusive interview with a G-wing favourite.

I'm so glad that she isn't leaving. Phyl Oswin is an amazing character and you can't have one costa con without the other.

Yay! Glad to hear that the Costa's won't be splitting. Definitely two of my favourite ever characters.

I think that she should leave. From series five she has always been a bad character.
