Since the initial announcements that both James Alexandrou and Natalie Cassidy are to quit the Square next year, scriptwriters have brought forward their exit, it has been confirmed.
The duo - who play Martin Fowler and Sonia Jackson respectively - were lined up to leave in the autumn of next year but we will now see them leave in February/March.
Everyone's keeping tight-lipped as to their exit storylines and so the big question is still left unanswered: Will they leave together or will they go their separate ways?
Or maybe Robbie comes to whisk them away.
And Wellard, no?
