Open All Hours actress Lynda Baron will appear in EastEnders next month, I can confirm.
Lynda - who played Nurse Gladys Emanuel in the BBC comedy - will play the role of Jane Collins' (Laurie Brett) mother, Linda.
An insider teased: "Linda turns up to help with the wedding preparation but will she approve of her daughter's choice of man? - Expect fireworks!"
