TV Choice Awards 2012 - soap nominees in full

The shortlist nominations for the TV Choice Awards 2012 have been revealed today (July 3).

Now in its 16th year, the ceremony will take place on Monday, September 10 at The Dorchester hotel in London, hosted by Jo Brand.

The soap-related categories are 'Best Soap Actor', 'Best Soap Actress', 'Best Soap Newcomer' and 'Best Soap'.

Fans of Waterloo Road should also take note that the show is up for 'Best Family Drama', while Jaye Jacobs (Sian Diamond) has been nominated for 'Best Actress'.

Votes can be cast online via the TV Choice website until midnight on Friday, July 13.
