Heads up for 'Holby' and 'Casualty'
Published Wednesday, Dec 20 2006, 11:22 GMT | By Kris Green
Ahead of Christmas, I thought it'd be nice to have a quick-fire round-up of what's going in Holby and Casualty over the next few weeks and months.
The 'ones to watch' (oh, so cliché) have to be the departures of Georgina Bouzova (Ellen) and Ian Bleasdale (Josh) in Casualty. It's a gem of an episode - definitely worth a watch even if you're not a Casualty fan.
For more on that ep, click here to read my interview with Georgina Bouzova.
My sources tell me that the people at the top/big cheese/execs are casting for a couple of new roles as well as signing more guest artists. Watch this space.
Meanwhile, over at Holby City, Ade Edmondson leaves the show in the first few weeks of the new year when Dan finally catches up with Abra (Edmondson) - will Kyla be left heartbroken?
That same week, as DS exclusively revealed earlier this year, new girl Nadine Lewington appears on our screens for the first time as Senior House Officer Maddy Young. Shortly after, Patsy Kensit joins the ranks.
As for guest artists, 2007 sees Holby cameos for Josie D'Arby and former-EastEnder Hannah Waterman.
Questions to the usual address!
