'EastEnders' plans scandal special
Published Wednesday, Feb 14 2007, 16:04 GMT | By Kris Green
EastEnders are treating viewers to yet another documentary to coincide with Kevin Wicks' dramatic return to Walford after running away from his troubled past.
EastEnders Scandals: The Wicks Family will look at the Wicks' dynasty and see how the smooth talkers and dodgy dealers of the family have shaken up the Square over the years.
Back in the '80s, with the matriarch Pat at the helm, her sons Simon and David broke a few hearts in their time and provided some of the most explosive scenes in the soap's history. Never ones for accepting responsibility for their actions, their encounters with Cindy Beale (Michelle Collins) became legendary.
And now, there are a few more surprises in store with the whole new breed of Wicks offspring. The fresh faces of Deano and Carly certainly provide a breath of fresh air, but after Kevin revealed he is not their father after all, Albert Square is sure to see some fireworks fly in the very near future, especially now Shirley's on the scene.
The programme, which looks to air on BBC Three straight after the BBC One episode, will have exclusive interviews with Matt di Angelo, Kellie Shirley, Phil Daniels, Pam St Clement, and relative newcomer Linda Henry.
