I can't believe you destroyed it

I'm finally back online after a week of travelling the country in search of our award-winning soap stars.
If you haven't already seen, the winners of this year's DS Soap Awards have finally been announced. I'd like to extend a very special thanks to our technical guru James Welsh for a superb job with the video interviews – thanks, James! I'd also like to say a big thanks to everyone who voted - the soap's casts really do appreciate the support.
During our filming days, our French intern, Raphael, didn't really understand what all the fuss what about – admittedly, he had to ask what Coronation Street actually was, but I'll let him off - he's French…
Aside from his demolition of Hollyoaks' John Paul's bedroom in one way or another and wandering frivolously (the wrong way) around the corridors of Lime Pictures, we had a great couple of days. You can read Raphael's take on events in his 'Diary of a French Intern' by clicking here.
Gossip from the week? Well, they must've hidden everything from sight because they knew I was coming! I jest. There really wasn't much happening as I'd manage to bag a bit of time with each soap on a 'quiet day' – if you can ever call a soap schedule 'quiet', that is.

Over at Sun Hill, I heard that there are plans afoot to celebrate the show's 25th birthday. Nothing's been confirmed yet but I'm told that there's something quite big afoot.
Finally for this entry, here's one of the first pictures of Bianca and her kids (Whitney, Liam, Tiffany and Morgan) being evicted from their house.

These scenes are from Patsy Palmer's first episode back in the soap on Tuesday, April 1 at 7.30pm on BBC One.
Until next time.
