Daly tips Foster for 'Strictly' success

Tess Daly has tipped swimmer Mark Foster to be a success on the new series of Strictly Come Dancing.

The show's presenter claimed that Foster could follow in the footsteps of series four's winner Mark Ramprakash because he will appeal to female viewers.

"My tip for this year's heartthrob is swimmer Mark Foster," Daly told The Mirror. "I predict he'll be the Mark Ramprakash of the series and the ladies are going to love him."

Daly, who hosts the show alongside Bruce Forsyth, also predicted that male viewers will be impressed by Rachel Stevens and her female rivals.

"The women are really sexy this year," she said. "Rachel is going to look great in all those Lycra costumes and we have a few long-legged lovelies such as Jodie Kidd, Lisa Snowdon and Heather Small. In fact, all the girls are in amazing shape - although they're already complaining of blisters and aching limbs!"

Strictly Come Dancing returns to BBC One later this month.
