The children's TV presenter has been spotted with the Welsh singer at a Take That concert and in the Strictly Come Dancing studio.
A source from the BBC dance contest told The Sun: "They are going out, it’s official.
"Gethin and Katherine are both equally good-looking, so it’s no wonder they were drawn to each other.
"It’s early days, but they’re getting on very well. Gethin’s tight dancing trousers and sparkly shirts must have done the trick.
"At least Katherine will get the benefit of Gethin’s new snake hips!"
Jenkins appeared on the reality show in October, performing the hit 'Time To Say Goodbye' with Andrea Bocelli.
A spokesperson for Jenkins commented: "They’re old friends and they’ve been on several dates."
