Gethin Jones voted off 'Strictly'

Gethin Jones has missed out on securing a place in the Strictly Come Dancing final.

Last night, viewers saw the TV host and his dance partner Camilla Dallerup find themselves in the dance-off alongside Matt Di Angelo and Flavia Cacace. Singer Alesha Dixon escaped the possibility of being in the bottom two after impressing the judges and viewers with her two dances.

After both Gethin and Matt had danced again, it was down to the judges to make the final decision. Only Arlene Phillips voted to save Gethin, while Len Goodman, Craig Revel Horwood and Bruno Tonioli opted to put Matt through to the final.

"I've had an incredible adventure and now I have some great dance moves thanks to Camilla," Gethin explained after the result was announced. "My friends never expected me to get past week two."

The Strictly final airs at 5.50pm and 9.25pm on Saturday on BBC One.
