The professional dancer has been left heartbroken following Flavia's confession that she has fallen for Matt after spending time with him in rehearsals for the show.
Vincent, who was voted off with his dance partner Stephanie Beacham in week two of the competition, admitted that he feared Flavia could be unfaithful before the show's pairings were announced.
"I knew that any man who was paired with Flavia would fall in love with her, just as I had," he told the Daily Mail. "So yes, I was worried about the sort of man she would be paired with. I didn't want it to be someone I thought she might find attractive, do you know what I mean?"
However, after Vincent discovered that Flavia was being paired with 20-year-old EastEnders actor Matt, he breathed a sigh of relief.
"This one was a baby, a typical young guy," he explained. "I'd looked him up on the internet and I thought: 'Great - I am safe.' I knew he wasn't the sort of person Flavia would find attractive."
"I just did not see this coming. She has fallen for this baby, this person that I did not even think to be worried about," Vincent continued. "He has her now, and my life is just in ruins.
"I can't believe this has happened to us. And the worst bit is that I didn't even see it coming. I feel so stupid now. I have been made a fool of, and in front of the whole country. I don't know how I will ever get over this."
