Camilla Dallerup ('Strictly Come Dancing')

Whether she was doing a cha cha cha with David Dickinson, teaching Gethin Jones how to salsa or bringing out one of the greatest show dances of all time with last year's champion Tom Chambers, Danish dancer Camilla Dallerup was always guaranteed to bring plenty of sizzle and sparkle to Strictly Come Dancing. All this considered, we thought Camilla was the ideal woman to call for an expert opinion on the Strictly final ten. Here's Camilla's verdict:

Jade Johnson and Ian Waite
"I was so upset that they were in the bottom two last week. I was really upset. I've spoken to Jade a couple of times and she is not like a lot of the girls. She clearly wasn't the young girl dreaming of ballgowns and dressing like a princess and she's done well to overcome that. The only reason I think she might be in the bottom two is because sports people don't like showing vulnerability. They are used to putting up that barrier, which prevents the viewers going along the journey with them. We're not seeing enough of her as a person."

Chris Hollins and Ola Jordan
"I love Chris. I really love Chris. Every time I see him on BBC News, I tell him, 'Just keep going, Chris'. He is a perfectionist and you can see that from everything he does, but he also manages to bring his personality with him. He is honest and he talks to the audience. He shows them how he feels and he is fun to watch. I think him and Ola are getting on really well and I think that comes across - they obviously have a really good friendship. And Ola's outfits - they are outrageous! She looks stunning in them."

Phil Tufnell and Katya Virshilas
"My favourite at the moment is Phil. I'm sitting at home watching it, clapping on the couch, waiting for him to come on. He's got the spirit of each dance and he's not a trained actor or dancer. For him to pick up the character and make us feel the routine through the camera is amazing. He never looks awkward and for a man, that is really difficult. He's put in all sorts of situations and he looks like a natural. I do seriously think he could make it to the final."

Zöe Lucker and James Jordan
"There's been weeks when I thought Zöe would be a contender to win. She can be so graceful. All she needs really is a slight extension of her neck line and upper-half. The problem for Zöe is that this year we've got a lot of people who have been on a similar level. I'm including Chris Hollins, Phil, Ricky and Ricky, Ali and even Laila. They are all at the same level. Whether it is entertainment of technical skill. It's just so open this year and there's seven people who could win it, where usually there's only three or four."

Craig Kelly and Flavia Cacace
"Oh Craig. He is such a nice man, he's lovely and fun. But something happens when he goes on that dancefloor. It's like he forgets his personality. He definitely takes it too seriously. I thought he would have gone on Saturday and Jo would have stayed, because I preferred her enthusiasm on the floor. I was surprised that she went. Again, I think he's trying to make it too perfect and really all we want to see is him. I think some people take longer to learn than others and that is okay, but it's hard if you are doing it on Strictly."

Ricky Groves and Erin Boag
"I seriously love Ricky. Erin's choreography for the American smooth was brilliant. If Ricky can sort out his shoulders, posture and hold in the ballroom, then I really think he can do well. He's really getting into the character of the dance and he's another one who could go all the way. He's so popular with people and the audience like him. He's under the radar, he could easily simmer along and make it all the way. I've told him when I've met him, 'Just lower those shoulders in the ballroom', because apart from that his dancing is good."

Ricky Whittle and Natalie Lowe
"I have to say that I loved their samba last weekend. For me, that was the first time that they won me over completely as serious contenders. Before that moment, I had been impressed, but not convinced. I think he could easily have got nines for that samba. Again it's about letting go a little bit more. He comes across like quite the perfectionist and sometimes needs to let go. You need to enjoy the show, because in a couple of weeks someone good will go - like Austin Healey last year."

Natalie Cassidy and Vincent Simone
"Natalie has that likeable factor, where people just enjoy watching her on screen. She says it as it is and she's very endearing. She doesn't hide whether she's worried or excited and we feel like we are going on the journey with her. She's good at drawing in the audience. There's been some dances where she's better than others, but the American smooth last week was a bit too careful for me. I like it best when she comes out and shakes it all about. She's got the right personality for that. She's a definite dark horse."

Ali Bastian and Brian Fortuna
"I was so pleased that she got the ten last week, because I thought she was superb. But I do think she could afford to let go a little bit more. What comes to mind for me with her is Gethin Jones. He was really good, but Arlene kept saying to him, 'We want more, I want more'. Just like that, she needs to be pushed that little bit further. Remember when Gethin jumped off the stage and shook it all about in the salsa. I'm waiting for that moment. I know Ali, she's such a sweet girl, but you've got to have that power behind the dances."

Laila Rouass and Anton du Beke
"I'm not convinced by them yet. Because of Laila's personality and look, I thought that she would be someone very much in the running. But then they have been up and down like yo-yos. Last week they were quite good, but the week before they did the jive and I don't know what went on with that. They are difficult to get a hold of because one minute they look great and the next they look like they could be going. I would love Anton to go all the way though, because I know how much it would mean for him to get to the final."

Camilla Dallerup will appear as the showbiz correspondent on Gala TV at 8pm tonight. Gala TV is on Sky and Freesat Channel 861.
