Arlene Phillips has revealed that she was very promiscuous when she first moved to London.
The Strictly Come Dancing judge moved to the capital from Manchester in the 1970s and soon found herself an object of affection for men.
"It was a fine time to be an attractive woman on the fringes of showbiz," she told the Daily Mail. "God yes, brilliantly exciting!
"I spent a lot of the time on the King's Road, getting picked up by whatever flash car came by."
Phillips also revealed that she met Saturday night TV rival Simon Cowell during the 1980s, saying: "He was really slim then."
