The remaining 12 Strictly Come Dancing celebrities took to the dancefloor tonight to perform either a Jive or a Viennese Waltz. Keep reading to find out what Craig, Alesha, Len and Bruno made of their performances.

Here's what the judges had to say:

Ricky Groves and Erin Boag

Len: (7) You're looking for kicks, tricks and flicks basically. It's a fun, fast dance. Talking about flicks, I'm surprised you haven't got repetitive strain injury. I have never seen so many flicks on one leg. It was a minute and a half of flicking. What I'll say on a positive note is that you embraced the fun and energy of the dance.

Bruno: (5) Ricky, this wasn't a Jive, it was one-step wonder... It was not good.

Craig: (6) Well if we didn't know what a kick ball change was, we certainly do now, after you did about 200 hundred of them. If you are going to do that, you need to point your feet more. Those orange socks were drawing us to your feet.

Alesha: (7) Loved the way you used the comb. That was a good use of a prop. It was very slick. Not as much pizzazz as your Paso, it could have been sharper, but it weren't bad Ricky.

Total: 25

Jade Johnson and Ian Waite

Len: (9) I was looking for lovely musical lilt, good posture, a lovely mixture of turns, maybe a pivot thrown in there, maybe a fleckerl thrown in for flavour - in fact - everything you just did!

Bruno: (9) Gorgeous! Elegant! Smooth! It was like watching two great birds gliding over the summer ocean into the sunset... take me with you, I'm yours!

Craig: (8) I thought there was a little bit too much rise-and-fall, marginally. It stopped the giddy nature of the dance. But you kept your frame throughout and I thought the whole thing was mag-nificient.

Alesha: (9) This dance, really, really suits you Jade. That was so beautiful to watch. Very graceful, great body contact and you captured the emotion of the dance in a natural way. Actresses may act the part, but with you it comes from within. It's very honest.

Score: 35

Ali Bastian and Brian Fortuna

Len: (7) Ali, you must be very upset. This was a real class Jive, but there was a major incident. You have a real talented dancer here Brian, maybe less is more and ease up a bit, then really let this girl perform.

Bruno: (8) I'm very frustrated because I'm still waiting for the goods. You have the ability to blow my mind, but you still don't do it. You do some great moves, but then you stumble at the finish line. Why? It's ok if you can't do it, but I know you can. It's all there to be explored and exploited.

Craig: (6) It is such a terrible shame, you lost your balance when you did those first spins out. You lost your timing, then you did the big whack kick, you lost tone in the legs on the sweep through. It was all a bit of a miss. But Bruno's right, you have so much promise, but you're not delivering.

Alesha: (8) You do those turns superbly and there were great flicks in what was a tricky routine. Brian was very ambitious with the routine. I feel sometimes you are struggling to keep up with it. I think you can go far in this competition, but I said last week you need to let go a bit more. You went for every move, but I think sometimes you performance is compromised. Don't beat yourself up about it.

Score: 29

Jo Wood and Brendan Cole

Len: (7) What I liked was that Brendan didn't give her an easy routine. That was a full-on routine and all though there were faults that was Jo's best dance to date.

Bruno: (5) Jo, you were hanging on to your hero to get you out of trouble, but you were too skippy. You skipped through all of this. It was like a grasshopper really, I'm sorry.

Craig: (5) I don't know about grasshopper, it was more like bush kangaroo.

Alesha: (6) The continuing turns of a Viennese Waltz can make you feel sick and I think Jo coped with that really well. Personally, I think that was her best dance so far.

Total: 23

Zöe Lucker and James Jordan

Len: (8) It was a respectable Jive, it was clean, neat and precise. But sometimes you get one thing, you lose something else. It could have done with a bit more freedom about it. The Jive is all about wildness, but with control.

Bruno: (7) Your performances always deliver because you are a goer. You come here and give the goods, 100%. But, the kicks and flicks need work... But as the others have said, always great to watch you.

Craig: (7) Zoe, you are fabulous to watch. You really and truly are. The kicks and flicks were a little bit stiff, but that was a very respectable Jive.

Alesha: (8) I agree with what Len said, but for me Zoe, you never disappoint. You came out, you are a clean dancer and were a joy to watch. You've done really once again.

Total: 30

Ricky Whittle and Natalie Lowe

Len: (9) I thought the start was never going to end. On and on it went. It was getting on my wick, but then you suddenly took hold and all was forgiven. You lost your head sometimes, you must keep it to the left and keep it stationary. But bloomin' good job.

Bruno: (9) Ricky, you were riding on a crest of a wave. All I can say, this is a leading man's performance.

Craig: (8) You did perform that dance with an ease and confidence, and I liked it very, very much. However, you do have a very lazy right foot, especially in the backsteps.

Alesha: (10) Back in the zone and no, you did not disappoint Mr Whittle. I think you are a Ballroom boy at heart. That was like watching a professional couple. You were confident, it was fluid, it was you best dance yet,

Score: 36

Craig Kelly and Flavia Cacace

Len: (6) Flavia, if you're thinking that outfit put me off Craig, then it worked perfectly. It was a good job, lots of content, but this is Week 5, I really want to see improvement now. You need to work a tad harder.

Bruno: (5) Well Craig, you definitely try hard because you throw a great range of steps into it. But unfortunately most of them were off timing. It made me feel slightly odd and uncomfortable. It was just very off the boil for me.

Craig: (4) I appreciate your energy, but it was plodding and pedestrian at times. There were timing issues pretty much all the way through it. It was very spasmodic, but you need to point your feet with the kicks.

Alesha: (5) Craig, as much as I can se you are trying, you remind me of someone's dad dancing down a disco. It's endearing, but not good enough.

Score: 20

Joe Calzaghe and Kristina Rihanoff

Len: (6) If this had been a boxing match, you'd have been knocked out in the second round. But I'm glad you didn't because in this week and last week, we've seen lots of improvement. Well done.

Bruno: (5) Joe, we all know you are not a natural dancer. But for a few moments there, for the first time, you were on time. So there is hope. There is hope.

Craig: (4) We are finally seeing some personality, which is extremely important. You have loosened up, thank goodness. There are a plethora of small problems, however. It's flat-footed, a little bit waddle-y, but... a vast improvement.

Alesha: (6) Because you're a boxer, I expected to see more spring in your step. I want to see more bounce. But I always love your routines Kristina, your song choice was great and you both brought some fun to the floor.

Total: 21

Natalie Cassidy and Vincent Simone

Len: (7) I love your enthusiasm. You are like a kid in a toy shop. Bewildered and excited and it's infectious. All the steps were there. It was a little bit hoppy, so I'm going to christen you hop-a-long Cassidy.

Bruno: (6) They have all said it, too skippy. We've picked other people up on that. The key for this dance is to glide and be light. If you're skipping it defeats the purpose.

Craig: (7) Not completely devoid of lumps and bumps and you are picking up your left leg too much in the pivots. But you did come out and achieve what you set out to do.

Alesha: (7) It was lovely to see another side of you Natalie. You didn't come out and sell it. You were elegant and your dad will be proud. You danced like a lady. Len is right, you are picking up your feet too much, so watch that on your next Ballroom.

Total: 27

Laila Rouass and Anton du Beke

Len: (7) There's no question about it, your Ballroom is a tad better than your Latin. But I think you have a mental thing with this. You convinced yourself that this wasn't going to be too clever. It was much better that I thought it would be. Buck yourself up, get your bum in gear and do a better Latin.

Bruno: (5) Did you rehearse on Twitter? All short bursts that made no sense. Must try harder to stay in this competition.

Craig: (5) I can only agree with the others, the fringing was masking the flaws in that routine. A bit sticky, bit clumpy and a bit flat-footed.

Alesha: (5) Based on that performance Laila, your Latin needs a lot more work than your Ballroom, if you are to be taken seriously in this competition. For me, that was like a drunken rag doll. But your outfit is fantastic, on the plus side. Best outfit of the night.

Total: 22

Phil Tufnell and Katya Virshilas

Len: (7) Think balls; cricket balls. You polish them. Getting the routine is only the start. It's those days and hours where you polish the dance, that will bring you up to the next level. It's competent, but we need to see a little more finesse and a little polish. Think of your balls.

Bruno: (7) This was charm at full throttle. It really suited your personality. Apart from the stumble at the end it was very good.

Craig: (6) Technically for me, it was all too much on your toes. I would have liked to have seen your lined extended a couple of times, a little lumpy and imprecise, but... you did a great job.

Alesha: (7) You both look adorable. That was so classy. Phil you really look the part. You hold your posture really well Phil, but I agree with Len, work on it because you are getting there. You are someone who is getting better every week. You are charming.

Total: 27

Chris Hollins and Ola Jordan

Len: (6) There's a peculiar timing in the Jive...and it is awkward. That was the problem and you started off time. You kept losing your timing and you need to listen to the music. Apart from that, it was good, but the timing you messed up.

Bruno: (5) Chris you come out all rough and ready, but you made a mess of it and you know it. You went off so many times, and it's week 5. You are another one, who can actually do it, so come and do it please.

Craig: (5) I think one week more rehearsal would have worked for that. You went wrong several times and it looked like you were making it up. The left side of your foot is not working as quickly as the right. But you do have a compact body and it is a dance, which will suit you with time.

Alesha: (6) There was an improvement on the kicks. Occasionally it looked like you were kicking a football, but there was an improvement. It's a shame about the little mistakes because out of all the Jives tonight, you had a real spring in your step. I think it was still a good job.
