Ali Bastian has said that scoring a ten on last Saturday's Strictly was the "best feeling ever".
The soap star, who is partnered by Brian Fortuna, was top of the leaderboard after totalling 37 points for her American smooth. Craig Revel Horwood described her as "stylish, classy" and "stunning", while Bruno Tonioli gave her a perfect ten score.
"It was the best feeling ever. It is really hard to put into words," Bastian told It Takes Two. "We're holding on to that ten with both hands. It was such a good feeling."
Fortuna added: "In all honesty, I think it could have been a lot better. I'm proud of Ali and what she has done, but we are perfectionists, and it's never enough, and we're always striving to do better."
The former Hollyoaks actress joked: "He's always cracking the whip."
Speaking about their paso doble routine this weekend, Fortuna said: "The judges said simplify and I listened a little bit. There are some basic steps, but we've put a few show-stopping moves in as well. It's about getting the right blend."
Strictly continues this Saturday at 6.50pm on BBC One.
