Former Strictly winner Camilla Dallerup has accused Craig Kelly of taking the show "too seriously".
Dallerup also said that she would have preferred the Coronation Street actor to leave the dance contest last Saturday rather than Jo Wood.
"Oh, Craig. He is such a nice man, he's lovely and fun. But something happens when he goes on that dancefloor," she told DS. "It's like he forgets his personality. He definitely takes it too seriously.
"I thought he would have gone on Saturday and Jo would have stayed, because I preferred her enthusiasm on the floor. I was surprised that she went.
"[Craig] is trying to make it too perfect and really all we want to see is him. I think some people take longer to learn than others and that is okay, but it's hard if you are doing it on Strictly."
The Danish dancer also argued that bookmakers' favourites Ricky Whittle and Ali Bastian need to "let go" and enjoy the show more.
Strictly continues on Saturday at 6.50pm on BBC One.
