Over 22 million viewers tuned in to see former Playboy playmate Kelly Monaco win Dancing With The Stars on Wednesday night.
According to early figures, an average of 22.4 million tuned in to ABC for the show's finale, up from the previous week's gargantuan 18.6 million.
The series is now expected to return for an expanded run as part of the network's autumn schedule.
