ABC has named the ten celebrities participating in the next season of Dancing With The Stars, the US version of Strictly Come Dancing.

They are:

  • Tia Carrere: Television and movie star known for her stunning beauty

  • Giselle Fernandez: Emmy Award-winning journalist

  • George Hamilton: Actor and international bon vivant

  • Stacy Kiebler: WWE (World Wrestling Entertainment) diva

  • Drew Lachey: Recording artist and former member of the pop group 98 Degrees

  • Kenny Mayne: One of ESPN's most-recognised personalities, known for his dry wit and a former college quarterback

  • Tatum O'Neal: Academy Award-winning actress

  • Jerry Rice: Three-time Super Bowl champ and considered by many to be the greatest wide receiver to ever play in the NFL

  • Lisa Rinna: Actress and TV host

  • Romeo: Teen rap star and performer since age eleven

    • Len Goodman and Bruno Tonioli, judges on the UK version, will fill the same roles on the US series.

    ABC will air the show twice weekly from January 5, with the performances show on Thursday night and the results the following night at 8pm.

    In its limited first run earlier this year, Dancing With The Stars ranked as the most popular series of the summer with a peak of more than 22 million viewers.
