Claire King has denied claims that she has become romantically involved with her Strictly Come Dancing partner Brendan Cole.
The former Bad Girls actress, who became the latest celeb to be eliminated from the competition last night, was spotted enjoying an intimate dinner with Cole last week.
However Claire has insisted that she is committed to her boyfriend John Robson and shared her less than favourable impressions of womaniser Brendan.
"Me and Brendan got off to a bad start from day one when he said he wanted to be partnered with Emma Bunton or Carol Smillie," King told The People. "I've always felt like second-best and it's meant that I've never had any confidence.
"To say that there's anything going on between me and Brendan is ridiculous. I hardly know him. We'd been dancing together for weeks and he never even realised I was in agony every day of training because of my arthritis. It was only when someone else pointed it out to him that he found out. He just wasn't interested in me at all. He was very distant."
She added: "He had no faith in me and certainly never did anything to boost my confidence. As for there being anything physical between us, please, I could have eaten him for breakfast but I'd rather eat cold toast."
