Matt Di Angelo has described his Strictly Come Dancing co-star Alesha Dixon as "out of my league".
Rumours of a relationship between Matt and Alesha first hit the tabloids last month when they were spotted dancing together at the Movida club in London. A later report claimed that their romance was an "open secret" on the Strictly set.
However, in an interview with The Mirror, Matt insisted: "I'd love to date Alesha. Of course, I would. But she's so far out of my league, it's ridiculous."
More recently, there has been speculation that Matt's dance partner Flavia Cacace has dumped her boyfriend Vincent Simone, following the publication of snaps which showed her and Di Angelo looking intimate in a cafe.
"Yes, there's a remarkable chemistry between Flavia and me - and has been from day one. I don't care who sees that, I'm not hiding it, I'm not doing anything wrong," Matt explained. "When you're dancing with someone and spending all day being intimate and close, that's got to mean something. We just click.
"Her abs are something else. It's intimidating having that stomach next to my pot belly. I just want to feed her muffins and fatten her up.
"But seriously, we went for a coffee and were photographed touching each other's hands as I gave her a phone. If you take 1,000 frames across a few minutes, you're going to get a picture something close to what you're after."
