well i was one of the first to have hd so trust me ive had all the boxes you can get from thompson to amstrad,but ive got to say this was the last one i had and touch wood not a problem not cutting off like the thompson,not making grinding noises like the amstrad,and not out of sink like the pace so ,if you get the choiuce make it samsung!
Super quick for first month. Now very slow. Crashes a lot, most unresponsive remote ever used. Much worse than old Thomson Sky+ box (after it's updates)
the box is ok most times but can have a bit of a bad day wend you go in to planing to see what you have recomd on it to fix it turn it off and on

Ive had the Sammy box since November and to start with everything was great, but now its rather buggy. The box refuses to repond to the remote more often than i'd like. The hard disc started grinding the other month. EPG software also seems very laggy at times. Very Average, especially for a Samsung product
