Great through roof aerial. Average reception with portable, supplied aerial, but happy with product overall

BDA drivers are now available which makes this an excellent product. I'm in a fairly low reception area and still use the supplied ariel.

EPG Is garbled and useless. The supplied aerial is dinky but no use for freeview. The quality of the picture is excellent (worth the cost alone). The remote is a bit touch and go i.e you need to be two inches away for it too work.

Could not get it to work, unlucky, probably. But when I contacted Customer Services I found it to be an awful experience and put me off buying any Freecom bits again.

The software supplied with this is rubbish. It takes no account of logical channel numbers and does not support UK teletext. BDA drivers are not available from Freecom but the Yakumo BDA drivers work only on older hardware. The antenna adaptor is easily broken... Avoid.

Plugged into and aerial socket works pefectly. picks up all the channels you'd want. However, remote and bundled aerial are not so good - dissapointing

A very sensitive Freeview card but this can be a problem as I can pick up duplicate channels from another transmitter (even though the roof ariel is pointing in a different direction to a different transmitter). the supplied ariel is only good for the bin. Software works well but does look dated. some functions are usefull like 7 day EPG but are not cached into the memory. Every time the channel is changed the EPG reloads. Build quality is good but let down by the remote control that did not work very well. I had to point the remote straight at the USB card. A work around was to open the case, then re-align the IR reciever (sitting abouve the pcb) and then put the cover back on. The remote now works right across the room. The remote control does not have a record button, This was also modded so that the mute button is now the record button. In its standard form the box would be rated a 3 (Average) but with modifications a 4 is worthwhile. Software stable. shame there's no working BDA drivers out there for later dated cards.

Struggle to receive any reception at all! I'm in a good reception area and have to use the roof aerial, then I do not get all the channels.
