Four new channels have joined the Sky Digital EPG so far this week.
Yesterday, a second screen from those behind Travel Channel, launched Travel Channel 2 (EPG#182). It broadcasts 7am until 2pm daily.
Today has seen the much anticipated launch of three new channels - UK Bright Ideas (EPG#253), Ftn (EPG#256) and Performance (EPG#259).
UK Bright Ideas comprises of programming taken from UKTV plus some original shows, whilst Ftn draws on those produced by Flextech for their Living TV channel. Both channels were set up for launch on Freeview, offering viewers the 'best bits' from the full range of UKTV and Flextech channels available on Sky.
Performance has been running for almost 10 years on cable, but following the channels' departure from the ntl line-up, a move to Sky seemed inevitable.
Other possible launches due soon include Radio Caroline and Mean Country 1035.
