The MTV bouquet of channels will be offering an SMS-based chat service on Valentine's Day, accessible by pressing the red button on digital satellite.
The "Let's Get Flirty" chat service is powered by NDS's Value@TV technology, and will be available from 4pm GMT onwards on MTV, MTV Base, MTV Dance and MTV Hits. Once viewers select the chat service, they text in their messages and follow the conversation live on screen.
This isn't the first time MTV have rolled out a chat service; a similar application has previously been used to let viewers interact with celebs in the MTV studios.
