Tiscali TV to recommend content
Published Friday, Jul 4 2008, 17:38 BST | By Dave West

The service features six "screens", called Showcase, which are updated weekly and promote new shows, a "channel of the month", most watched programmes, "last chance" content and other items.
The service will be accessible from the top level of the EPG and is billed as a "guide through the often daunting mass of multichannel and on demand television available".
Jonathan Sykes, managing director of content strategy, said Tiscali Recommends would be developed with the use of viewing trends and habits and with "targeted, intelligent upgrades".
"Allowing consumers to choose from the most watched programmes of their fellow subscribers based on viewing data is just the tip of the iceberg in terms of how flexible and responsive we aim to be as a pioneering IPTV service," he said.
