Sky music channels begin testing
Published Tuesday, Apr 8 2003, 20:12 BST | By Neil Wilkes
Sky's three music channels showed the first signs of life this afternoon by beginning tests on transponder 52.
'The Amp', 'Scuzz' and 'Flaunt' can be found on 10.876V (SR 22.0, FEC 5/6) under the labels '6pt3t', '5pi3oa' and 'rpimby' respectively.
Only EPG 'Now and Next' data is currently viewable, although the first video testing schould begin soon.
A full programme lineup has yet to be released, although the Now and Next data indicates the presence of a jukebox element (similar to 'The Box') on each of the three channels.
