Sky Movies plans 'Widescreen weekend'

Sky movies is welcoming the arrival of widescreen movies to all its channels with a special 'widescreen weekend' from Friday 6 to Sunday 8 June.
To "celebrate the move" there will be triple bills of widescreen films on each of the channels over the weekend.
As Digital Spy reported last month, Sky announced that a switch to widescreen would happen on the movie channels during the summer and probably June. The latest listings information from Sky confirms this.
