Murdoch plans Italian news channel

Sky Italia will launch a new 24-hour news channel later this summer, it has been confirmed.
The station, called SkyTG24, will share resources with Sky News in the UK and FOX News in the US.
Sky Italia, which has 2.3 million subscribers in Italy, was formed after Murdoch's Stream TV merged with Telepiu earlier this year.
