Telewest is broadening its product offering by producing a package designed for the Asian community incuding Asian TV channels and international phone service.
The so-called 'Asian premium pack', details of which first emerged in our dedicated Telewest Broadband forum, will include TV channels B4U, SETV, Star Plus, Star News and Zee TV, along with Telewest's international calling option, Talk International. Sources indicate that the package will be priced at £24 per month.
The idea of packaging services together for the Asian community isn't a new one; in March, ntl:home reduced the price for its own "Hangama Pack", which comprises basic TV service, Talk Unlimited Local, its International Calling Plan, and SETV, from £25 to £23.50 per month.
We are expecting official confirmation from Telewest on this package on Monday, July 21st.
